For more than 100 years, The Madeleine has been the heart of Historic Irvington. Close to home for generations of Portlanders, and an event destination for many more. With our remodeled and updated spaces, it can now be your event destination, too.
The Madeleine Hall
Whether dressed up for a formal gala, decorated for a dance, or set up for a lecture, The Madeleine Hall is our largest and most versatile space. The high, gabled ceiling adds a majestic aire, but the unique configuration retains an intimate feel. Sits adjacent to our large commercial kitchen for easy meal service. Seats approximately 220 guests.
The Fireside Room
On its own, The Fireside Room is a warm, cozy space for meetings, talks, recitals and small banquets. It seamlessly pairs with The Madeleine Hall for larger events or, with its direct doorway to The Madeleine Courtyard, provides a unique indoor-outdoor experience. Seats approximately 80 guests.
The Madeleine Hall and The Fireside Room together accommodate events up to 300 people.
The Madeleine Courtyard
Set amidst beautiful rhododendrons and fragrant roses, this immaculately manicured garden space is perfect for wedding receptions, parties, wine tastings and more. It is privately nestled into the center of our campus, yet offers easy street access for guests, and convenient kitchen access for your caterer or cook. Accommodates approximately 150 guests.
