2010 Madeleine Jogathon
It’s time again for the annual Madeleine Jogathon, the second largest school fund-raiser of the year. This year’s event will be held on Friday, April 9th at 2:00pm.

You will get to be in the tunnel and welcome the Blazers to the floor of the Rose Garden before their game with the New York Knicks on March 31st!
here is how it works…
- Students from each grade who have 3 or more sponsors on their sponsor sheet (or more than $100 pledged) by halfway day will be eligible for the drawing. (One pair of tickets awarded per grade)
- Single biggest per lap pledge
- Person with the most pledges
- Pledge from farthest away
- 1st blue sheet returned from out of Portland via USPS
INDIVIDUAL PRIZES:
Students bringing in $150 in pledges: Receive a coveted 2010 Jogathon waterbottle, backpack & wristband
We will also be awarding shirts, hats, bags, shoes and other prizes!
Students bringing in the 3 highest total pledge dollars will receive prizes of script from the school’s “Scrip Store” for any shops, restaurants, etc. available, in the amounts below:
1st Prize = $250 2nd Prize = $175 3rd Prize = $125
Students reaching their $150 pledge goal will be entered into a drawing for their choice of: a free month of school tuition; a $500 US Savings Bond for college; or, an Ipod just for fun!!
Class CHALLENGE
Each grade group will have a “challenger” to run against, each student that beats their group challenger will receive a special prize!
Grade groups are:
- Grades: K, 1st, 2nd
- Grades: 3rd, 4th, 5th
- Grades: 6th, 7th, 8th

More Halfway Day Prizes!
On Halfway Day, Monday, March 8th, we will collect all sponsor sheets and money -- later that day we will return them to the students so they can continue to collect pledges.
- The more sponsors on your Sponsor Sheet that day, the more entries into Money Jump!
- The one student with the most individual sponsors on their White Sponsor Sheet on Halfway Day will win their choice of an iPOD Shuffle or a NIKE Sports Watch! Important note: only per lap pledges of $1 or more, and flat amount pledges of $5 or more, will be counted to win this prize!
The $$ Money Jump $$ CASH Prizes!
On Monday, March 15th, we will hold the famous Money Jump! During the Money Jump, each teacher will draw one entry name for their class - that person will jump for Cold-Hard CA$H!! Students on Halfway Day, who had at least 10 pledge sponsors (or who had $200 in flat amount pledges) get two entries in the Money Jump drawing – if you had 15 sponsors (or $300 in flat amount pledges), you get three entries. If you get 20 sponsors or more (or $400 in flat amount pledges), you automatically jump!
We will also be awarding the Blazer Tickets this day!
“Blue Sheet” Prizes!
Students who have at least one “Blue Sheet” returned to the school in the mail from an out-of-town sponsor by Halfway Day will receive a free dress pass!
