In Casablanca, the days are hot.
But the nights are even hotter!
Rick’s Café Américain is the center of all activity in Casablanca. And The Madeleine Auction is the center of vital fund-raising support for our school. It is our biggest fundraiser of the year, helping to keep tuition affordable for more families and to keep the quality of education high for all students.
Casablanca Nights, the 2008 Madeleine Auction is a night of glamour and suspense, interest and intrigue. It's one of the biggest social events of the year for our parish. A time to build community and make new friends, to reconnect with people you haven't seen for awhile.
But most of all, it's a time when we can all come together and work on behalf of our most important assets: our children.
With your generous, hard-working support, we’ll always have Madeleine.
Everybody comes to Rick's
On auction night, our parish hall will be transformed into Rick's Café Americáin, with music,, food, drink...everything except the cloud of smoke. It will truly be a night to remember. Right now, before you get distracted by something else in your day, go to the family calendar and write down the details:
Casablanca Nights, the 2008 Madeleine Auction
Date: Saturday, November 8, 2008
Location: The Madeleine Parish Hall
Attire: Fedora optional
The fundamental things apply,
and that's just the start
As you might expect, the center of the event is the live auction, where past auction patrons have won everything from whitewater rafting trips to vacations in St. Thomas. But there's much more.
Silent Auction. Hundreds of items where you can find some great deals...and maybe an early start on your Christmas shopping.
Easel Items. These are usually group events where a number of people can sign up for dinners, outings, revelry. Perfect for a special "grown ups" evening out or family event.
Treasure Chest. In all the keys in all the hands in all the auction, only one opens the treasure chest. Will it be your key? You won't know unless you buy one!
